Council has agreed to a 7th story, giving us 4 story of Independent Living units/apartments, 3 story aged care, with basement parking.
DECEMBER
2025
SMAC exchanged contracts with the Dioceses to purchase the Blacktown site off the Diocese. Meaning that SMAC now also owns the land and has full control of the project.
JUNE
2023
A full DA submission to Blacktown City Council for 7 floors. Next Steps:- DA Approval (Q2 2024) Construction commences (Q3 2024) Construction completed (Q2 2026) Fitout and commission (Q3 2026) Operational (Q4 2026)

2018
The St Maurice Aged Care sub-committee was established to engage with the Diocese in April 2017. HG Bishop Daniel exchanges contracts for the purchase of the Three (3) blocks in Blacktown
DECEMBER
2017
Stage 1 of the Concept Development Application was approved for a 6 storey including a medical centre, restaurant/cafe and rehabilitation centre, seniors housing for 75 beds on three levels and 28 residential apartments with 2 levels of basement car parking and service spaces.
MAY
2016
Application by St Maurice Aged Care Ltd to become an approved provider of aged care under the Aged Care Act 1997 was received by the Department of Health on 4 November 2015. The approval was granted on 13th May 2016 for the provision of Residential and Home Care.
JUNE
2015
St Maurice Aged Care Ltd and Ark Health Care announce a partnership to provide professional care services to the frail aged of the Coptic Community in a residential care facility located in Bankstown.
