December 6, 2007

In 2007, the Diocese Property Planning Board and Steering Committee identified 2500 sq.m for an Aged Care Facility in St. Anthony and St Paul Church (Guildford) – but nothing ever eventuated.

St Maurice Aged Care journey starts

December 6, 2011

In 2011, the ACFA (Australian Christian Family Association) and COPTS Inc, recognised the need for Aged Care. Later COPTS Inc. discovered that the Constitution did not allow them to establish Aged Care Facility. This was the start of St Maurice Aged Care Committee

June 6, 2015

St Maurice Aged Care Ltd and Ark Health Care announce a partnership to provide professional care services to the frail aged of the Coptic Community in a residential care facility located in Bankstown.

Granted Approved Provider Status

May 13, 2016

Application by St Maurice Aged Care Ltd to become an approved provider of aged care under the Aged Care Act 1997 was received by the Department of Health on 4 November 2015. The approval was granted on 13th May 2016 for the provision of Residential and Home Care.
