Our Facility
Arete Health Care (Bankstown) is a brand new, 100- bed facility.
Accommodation options include:-
- Single rooms with en-suite bathrooms;
- Single rooms with shared bathrooms for residents with very high care needs; and
- Two-bed companion rooms.
There are spacious lounge rooms on each level and a large courtyard where residents can sit and enjoy the outdoors.
Arete Health Care is the first Aged Care Facility to offer an entire floor to the Coptic Community. They employ Arabic speaking staff to assist residents and bridge communication difficulties.
Arete encourages a Christian environment by giving residents the freedom to display religious icons.
Weekly Liturgies are conducted for the residents and their families and volunteers regularly visit with Clergy and guests from the Coptic Community.
The menu changes quarterly with the seasons and is reviewed by a dietitian to meet the requirements of all individual needs.
Arete Health Care (Bankstown) has been consulting with a member of the Coptic community to ensure that cultural and spiritual needs are met.
